The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cartwright gets a clinch.
Cartwright lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Cartwright breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Cartwright rushes Raining Pain and presses him up against the cage.
Cartwright stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cartwright will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Raining Pain up against the cage.

Cartwright breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

I was talking to Cartwright's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Ceoghan Cartwright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dots Raining Pain.

Raining Pain has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Cartwright to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Raining Pain is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Cartwright pulls down on the head and he's put Raining Pain to sleep! This one is all over!
