Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Amir Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mick Gerrard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Mick Gerrard!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan connects with a right hand. Gerrard shakes it off.
Khan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gerrard.
Gerrard keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Khan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gerrard lands with a shot to the body.
Gerrard looks for a takedown but Khan sprawls well.
Khan misses with a wild combination.
Gerrard ducks right into an uppercut from Khan.
Gerrard misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gerrard swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Gerrard gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

and Gerrard counters with a three punch combo that has Khan backing up. Khan nods at Gerrard to acknowledge the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gerrard throws an overhand right that lands on Khan's shoulder, as Khan tries to avoid the shot.
Nice uppercut lands for Gerrard. That snapped Khan's head back.

The fighters circling - Khan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Gerrard lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Khan swings for the body but Gerrard moves out of range.

Gerrard stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Khan.

Gerrard doesn't manage to clinch there - Khan circles away.

It seemed like Gerrard was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Gerrard has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Khan lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gerrard swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Gerrard ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Gerrard missing with a left hand there. Khan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A clash of legs there as Gerrard blocks the low kick.

Khan drives through and clinches with Gerrard against the cage.
Khan tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Gerrard's elbow.
Khan's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Gerrard breaks the clinch.
Gerrard misses with a straight left.
Gerrard looks to land a left hand but Khan moved out of range nicely.
A little feinted left hand from Khan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Gerrard is looking to clinch but Khan is avoiding it.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gerrard blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Gerrard jumps into guard, dragging Khan to the mat.

Khan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Gerrard is working an open guard so Khan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
A good leg kick by Khan.
Khan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Gerrard throws an overhand right that lands on Khan's shoulder, as Khan tries to avoid the shot.

Gerrard pushes Khan up against the cage in a clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Khan.
Khan lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Gerrard backwards.
Gerrard jumps guard but Khan stands there with Gerrard around his waist. Gerrard gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Gerrard is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Amir Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mick Gerrard.
Gerrard misses with a short punch on the inside.

Gerrard escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Khan lands with a nice body punch.

Gerrard takes one to the side of the head.
Khan throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gerrard shoots in and drives through. Khan sprawls well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Khan lands a jab-cross combination.
Gerrard keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Gerrard looks to land a right hand but Khan moved out of range.
Gerrard shoots for a double leg takedown but Khan sprawls well. He's pushed Gerrard's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gerrard steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Khan.
Gerrard bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Khan connects with a right hand. Gerrard shakes it off.
A shot to the body from Gerrard misses
and Khan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gerrard throws a right hand that Khan ducks under and follows up with a left that Khan also avoids with ease.
Khan misses with a two punch combination.
Khan throws out a loose jab but Gerrard uses good head movement to avoid it.
Khan feints and then cracks Gerrard's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gerrard down.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Khan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Gerrard tries a body shot but Khan blocks it.

Gerrard can't find room to land a body shot as Khan controls the action.

Khan trying to stall but Gerrard improves his position.

Gerrard has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Khan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Khan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gerrard, up you get!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gerrard.
Oh Khan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Khan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gerrard was well out of range. Poor timing from Khan.
Khan walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Gerrard! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
