Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Datsik. That snapped Yon Po's head back.
Datsik lands with a nice body kick.
Datsik getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Yon Po takes a kick to the side of the head.
Datsik connects with a looping right hand.
Datsik lands a front kick.
Datsik uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Yon Po.
Datsik throws a good cross that connects.
Yon Po lands a body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Datsik lands with a right hand.
Yon Po takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Datsik closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Datsik is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Yon Po.
Datsik feints and then cracks Yon Po's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Yon Po down.
Datsik misses with a double jab.
Yon Po half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Datsik misses with a straight right.
Yon Po moves in looking to clinch but Datsik pushes him off.
Yon Po throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Yon Po throws out a loose jab but Datsik uses good head movement to avoid it.
Yon Po fails in his attempt to clinch.
Yon Po doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A left and a right from Datsik both land. Nice combination.
Datsik lets loose with a powerful body kick. Yon Po will feel that in the morning.
Datsik pulls out of a head kick attempt.
David Datsik is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Yon Po dives in and grabs Datsik's left leg, looking for a takedown. Datsik pushes down on Yon Po's head and hops out.
Datsik scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Datsik lands with a straight right. Yon Po didn't see that one coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A solid leg kick lands there for Datsik.

Datsik with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Datsik scores with a push kick.
Yon Po takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Datsik scores with a jab to the body.
Datsik throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Yon Po walks into a straight right hand from Datsik.
Yon Po gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nice body punch from Datsik.
Datsik is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Yon Po had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Yon Po takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Yon Po looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Datsik checks a low kick from Yon Po.

and Datsik counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Yon Po takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Datsik's jab looks to have found its range, popping Yon Po under the eye.
Datsik throws a leg kick which misses Yon Po's front leg but catches the back leg as Yon Po tries to avoid it.
Yon Po sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Yon Po throws a predictable looking body shot
and Datsik counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Yon Po is breathing heavily.
Oooooh!!! Datsik has knocked Yon Po down with a huge combo! Datsik steps away and waves a wobbly Yon Po back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Yon Po is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Datsik throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Oh Yon Po is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Datsik connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
David Datsik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yon Po throws a poor cross that misses
and Datsik counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Datsik lands a brutal head kick. Yon Po looks out on his feet and Datsik throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
