The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dellave turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Carter looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Carter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dellave as he jumps to the side.
Carter moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromDellave.
Carter ducks right into an uppercut from Dellave.
Carter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dellave misses with a two punch combination.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dellave. Carter does a little dance to reset his feet.

Carter takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
We've been told by Carter 's head coaches at Cozad MMA Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
