The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swift throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Swift connects with an inside leg kick.
Swift fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Mmaking on the side of the head.
Swift throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Swift misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As Swift tries to get set, Mmaking tries to push him back and clinch up but Swift manages to avoid the attempt.
Mmaking gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Mmaking moves into the clinch.
Mmaking using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Swift has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mmaking creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Mmaking is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Swift pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Mmaking manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Swift is trying to force a seperation but Mmaking has the dominant position.

Mmaking breaks from the clinch.
A slapping body kick lands there for Swift.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mmaking misses with an uppercut.
A solid leg kick lands there for Swift.
Swift feints and then cracks Mmaking's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mmaking down.

Swift bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mmaking avoids the head kick by Swift.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mmaking.
Swift jabs Mmaking right on the nose. Mmaking blinks but takes it well.
Casey Swift is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mmaking closes this distance looking for a takedown but Swift circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jrs Mmaking. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mmaking misses with a wild body shot.
Swift cracks Mmaking with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Mmaking shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Swift tries to land a front kick but Mmaking steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Mmaking shoots in and drives through. Swift sprawls well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Swift thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mmaking if he has to take too many more of those.
Mmaking takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Swift fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Mmaking on the side of the head.
Casey Swift seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Swift circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Mmaking to the canvas! Mmaking doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Swift keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
