Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Genaro Carr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Hall!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carr avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hall scores with a nice body kick.

Hall drives through with a takedown into Carr's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Hall's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Carr will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Hall is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hall won't allow Carr to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hall not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Carr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hall makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hall postures up and lands a big shot to Carr's brow.
Hall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hall looking to sit in guard and control but Carr gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Hall is controlling Carr's posture.
Hall throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Hall pushes Carr off and scrambles back to his feet.

Hall dives in and scores a takedown into Carr's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Carr is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hall throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Carr works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Hall drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hall jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hall lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hall controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Carr keeping full guard, as Hall tries to pass.
Hall throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Carr works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Carr is looking to sweep but instead, Hall has passed into half guard.

Hall maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Carr could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hall has cracked it and Carr is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hall!
