The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Medved tries to clinch up but Gable circles away and keeps his distance.
Medved uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gable.
Medved blocks a jab.
Medved doesn't manage to clinch there - Gable circles away.
Gable throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Medved fails to land with a series of punches.
Medved slips under a jab from Gable.
Gable takes a swing at Medved's ribcage but misses.
Gable lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Alexander Medved has been cut.

Medved closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Gable connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gable throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Medved stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gable misses the shot to the body.

Medved pushes Gable up against the cage in a clinch.
Gable tries for a takedown but Medved manages to get underhooks.
A nice left hand lands by Gable.
Gable blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Gable escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Medved counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Medved ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gable drops Medved with a straight right hand, right on the button! Gable follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
