PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Morys Bankowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denny Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bankowski comes to the cage accompanied by Rocket Man. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Morys Bankowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Denny Chase!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bankowski but Bankowski pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Chase closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bankowski circles away.
Chase displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bankowski throws out the jab.

Chase feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Chase throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bankowski works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

That was a close second round but I would say that Morys Bankowski will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
