Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeffson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Cliff Richard - Summer Holiday. Ray Reilly is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 27 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeffson Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ray Reilly!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reilly throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A slapping body kick lands there for Reilly.
Reilly misses with a combination
and Gracie counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Reilly closes the distance and clinches.
Gracie tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Gracie pulls guard effortlessly.
Reilly has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Warehouse. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Reilly tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard.

Reilly stands and steps away. Gracie gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Gracie looks to land a right hand but Reilly moved out of range.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Gracie appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Reilly tries to clinch up but Gracie circles away and keeps his distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Gracie counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Reilly paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gracie tries to clinch there but Reilly circles away.
Reilly clobbers Gracie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Reilly has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Reilly throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Reilly misses with an uppercut. Gracie saw that one coming.

Reilly throws a lazy right hand but Gracie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Reilly.

and Gracie counters with a left to the body.
Reilly misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Reilly slaps away a takedown attempt from Gracie, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reilly bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Ray Reilly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gracie takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Reilly avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Reilly comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown but Reilly manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gracie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Reilly connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gracie. Gracie circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
A nice inside leg kick there by Reilly. That's going to slow Gracie down.
Gracie takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Reilly has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Reilly avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Reilly is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
