Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Saan Shlamel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JC Seraphim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saan Shlamel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Saan Shlamel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, JC Seraphim!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seraphim wants to clinch up but Shlamel keeps it at a distance.
Seraphim moves to clinch but Shlamel breaks away
enabling Shlamel to counter with a crisp jab.
Seraphim is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Seraphim tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Shlamel moves into range and clinches up with Seraphim.
A short left from Shlamel.
Seraphim tries for a takedown. No joy.
The referee is keeping an eye on Shlamel - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Shlamel blocks a punch to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shlamel on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Shlamel.
Shlamel stalling in the clinch but Seraphim improves position.
Shlamel lands a left hand.
Seraphim with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Seraphim looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Shlamel just leaning against Seraphim, taking a breather.
Shlamel makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.


It looks like JC Seraphim has been cut.
Seraphim is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Shlamel gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Seraphim scores a nice knee to the body.

Seraphim tries to land knees in the clinch but Shlamel avoids the damage to the body.
Shlamel lands a left hand that snaps the head of Seraphim backwards.
Seraphim has a couple of punches blocked by Shlamel.
Shlamel looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Seraphim has hold of one of Shlamel's legs. Shlamel is fighting the takedown attempt but Seraphim gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Shlamel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Shlamel tries to get out of the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Seraphim won't allow Shlamel to sweep him here.
Shlamel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Seraphim on the ground.
Seraphim trying to control the position from guard on top but Shlamel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shlamel is pulling down on Seraphim's head to control his posture.
Seraphim wants to control from the top but Shlamel keeps moving.
Shlamel keeping full guard, as Seraphim tries to pass.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Seraphim forces his way into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Shlamel is staying active underneath Seraphim, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Shlamel is doing well to control the position and prevent Seraphim from advancing to side control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from Seraphim. Shlamel does a little dance to reset his feet.

Seraphim throws a body punch but Shlamel moves out of range.
Shlamel avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Shlamel scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Shlamel throws out a powerful jab.
Shlamel lands a nice looking body shot.

Shlamel shoots in and bounces Seraphim off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.


Seraphim is rocked!
Seraphim looks winded!
Shlamel trying to control the position from guard on top but Seraphim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Seraphim is adopting a defensive guard.
Shlamel lands a couple of elbows.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Saan Shlamel dominated that round.
The cut man is working on JC Seraphim's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Shlamel scores with a decent looking hook.
Seraphim ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shlamel moves away.
As Seraphim tries to get set, Shlamel tries to push him back and clinch up but Seraphim manages to avoid the attempt.
Seraphim moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Seraphim is still on wobbly legs! Can Shlamel finish him?
Seraphim misses with a left hand
and Shlamel counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Seraphim! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Shlamel!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Saan Shlamel!
An out of breath Saan Shlamel thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
