Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Porsche Valeron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lorenzo Lamel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Valeron. Lamel does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lamel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Valeron.
Valeron looks to land a right hand but Lamel moved out of range.
Valeron throws an overhand right that lands on Lamel's shoulder, as Lamel tries to avoid the shot.
Lamel looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Lamel throws a hook to the side of Valeron's head but Valeron sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Valeron blocks a leg kick.
Lamel misses with a low kick.
Lamel attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Valeron looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lamel throws a predictable looking body shot
and Valeron counters by clinching up.
Valeron tries to throw a body punch but Lamel avoids it by throwing Valeron back against the cage.
Lamel is trying to break the clinch but Valeron has him pressed against the cage.
Valeron digs a right hand into Lamel's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lamel's gas tank.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Valeron lands a shot to the body.
Lamel is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Valeron scores with a jab. Lamel acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
