The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monday tries to clinch but Davis moves out of range.
Davis doesn't manage to clinch there - Monday circles away.

Monday drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Monday thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Davis can do anything to dispel that myth.

Monday stands up and beckons Davis to his feet.
Monday tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Davis ducks under a wild hook from Monday.

Monday moves in looking to clinch but Davis pushes him off.

Monday shoots in looking for a takedown. Davis tries to sprawl out of it but Monday keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Davis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Davis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Monday. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Monday drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Monday as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Davis screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Monday! Nice submission victory there!
