Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayer takes the fight into the clinch.
Mayer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jonson feints a jab promting Mayer to slip. Jonson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mayer slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Santos Mayer has been cut.
Jonson thumps Mayer with a low kick.
Jonson scoring well with a low kick there.
Mayer takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Jonson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mayer throws a half hearted mid kick.
Mayer rushes Jonson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jonson has picked Mayer up - he's going for a ride! Jonson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mayer is controlling Jonson's trapped leg to prevent Jonson from advancing to side control.
Mayer manages to get to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mayer has his feet on Jonson's thighs here. He's pushed Jonson off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Jonson screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
