Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Damian Casey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergio Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Casey shoots in for a takedown but Martinez shows good takedown defense.
Martinez looks to score with a jab to the body but Casey is just out of range.
Martinez misses the body punch
and Casey counters with an inside leg kick.
A shot to the liver by Martinez. Beautiful body shot.
A slow jab from Martinez misses its intended target.
Casey looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Martinez is fending him off so far but Casey persists. Nope, Martinez circles away and we're back to standing.

Martinez gets a takedown into half guard.
Martinez wants to take a breather but Casey is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Martinez is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Martinez is looking to advance position but Casey won't allow it.

Martinez throwing strikes here but Casey is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Martinez lands a big shot there that rocks Casey but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Martinez lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Casey hang on?
Casey is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Martinez throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Martinez is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Casey can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Martinez avoids the attempt from Casey to control.
Casey is squirming around, avoiding Martinez's attempts to control the action.
Casey is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Martinez pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Martinez lands a couple of good shots and Casey has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Martinez has Casey flattened out and is raining down punches.
Casey is trying to stand back up.

Martinez has managed to slip his arm under Casey's chin. This could be all over... yep, Casey is tapping out! Submission win for Martinez.
