Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Avengers Avenge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remmy Jin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Avenge shoots in and bounces Jin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Avenge might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Avenge goes for a double leg but Jin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jin continues to drive forward.

It looks like The Avengers Avenge has been cut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Avengers Avenge. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Avenge closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Avenge has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
We've been hearing good reports from Avenge's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Avenge swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jin is now in Avenge's guard. A big mistake from Avenge there, giving up the dominant position!

Avenge is looking to cinch up a triangle. Jin throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Avenge's body to avoid the submission. Avenge has instead reached around Jin's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Avenge arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

A determined The Avengers Avenge didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
