And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucian Silvestre!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sawyer goes for a double leg but Silvestre avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Silvestre continues to drive forward.
Silvestre swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Sawyer fails to land the takedown.
Sawyer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silvestre as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Sawyer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sawyer takes one to the chin there.

It looks like Shane Sawyer has been cut.
Sawyer goes for a double leg but Silvestre avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Silvestre continues to drive forward.
Sawyer is breathing heavily.
Sawyer tries to clinch but Silvestre is having none of it.

Silvestre sends Sawyer crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Silvestre is motioning to the referee to let Sawyer up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silvestre is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Sawyer flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Sawyer is out cold! Silvestre holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lucian Silvestre!
Lucian Silvestre seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
The defeated Shane Sawyer had this to say: 'I was cheated! The fight is rigged! My opponents' gloves are loaded! Racism! (Shane throws the microphone at the official and must be restrained by his corner)'.
