The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tr tries to clinch but Kauffman is having none of it.
Tr throws a push kick but Kauffman slaps the foot to one side.

Tr decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Kauffman is doing well to control the position and prevent Tr from advancing to side control.
Tr is trying to control the action in half guard but Kauffman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Tr winds up and cracks Kauffman with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Tr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kauffman on the ground.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tr looking to sit in guard and control but Kauffman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Kauffman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
