Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Battery throws a lazy head kick
and Jones counters with a left to the body.
Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Battery swivels and escapes.
Battery throws a head kick that Jones semi-blocks.
Jones misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Battery looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Battery avoids the head kick by Jones.
Battery goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Battery blocks a head kick by Jones.
Jones takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Battery takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Battery fakes the leg kick and cracks Jones in the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Battery feints and then cracks Jones's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jones down.
Battery cracks the inside of Jones's front leg.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Battery swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Battery throws a fast counter high kick but Jones manages to duck under it in time.
That's one minute gone in the round.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daquan Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Battery lands with a slapping head kick.
Jones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Battery swivels and escapes.
Battery misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Battery throws a quick inside leg kick.
A thudding body kick lands there by Battery!
Jones is breathing heavily.
Battery avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Battery lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Battery takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jones is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Battery throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Jones is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
