The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baco looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Metamoris tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Baco paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Metamoris has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

And Baco responds with a good body kick, but Metamoris manages to step out the way in time.

Baco is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Baco really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Metamoris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Metamoris sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Baco's guard.
Metamoris is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Metamoris is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Baco has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Baco is looking to improve his position but Metamoris isn't that keen on the idea.
