Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jay Mayorga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carly Sarmiento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarmiento doesn't manage to clinch there - Mayorga circles away.
Mayorga went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Sarmiento walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Mayorga takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Carly Sarmiento seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sarmiento throws a body punch but Mayorga moves out of range.

Sarmiento moves into the clinch successfully.

Sarmiento pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mayorga seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Sarmiento swings away with a body shot that misses
letting Mayorga counter with a right hand.
Sarmiento looks to land a combination but Mayorga avoids it well.
Sarmiento takes a swing at Mayorga's ribcage but misses.
Sarmiento lands a nice hook to Mayorga's body. Mayorga takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mayorga throws a series of strikes that have Sarmiento backpedaling.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sarmiento scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mayorga doesn't seem bothered though.

Sarmiento looks to score with a jab to the body but Mayorga is just out of range.
Sarmiento fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mayorga manages to avoid it.

and Mayorga counters with a left and a right that stings Sarmiento.

Mayorga uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sarmiento.

Sarmiento is rocked!
Mayorga steps in with a hook that catches Sarmiento right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Mayorga follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Sarmiento looks absolutely devastated.
