Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Steven Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Freddy Tr!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Turner jabs Tr right on the nose. Tr blinks but takes it well.

Tr scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Turner makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Tr wants to clinch up but Turner keeps it at a distance.
Tr lands a head kick. Turner smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tr gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Tr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Good standup being displayed there by Turner as he connects with a hook.
Tr goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Tr tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Turner manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Turner slaps away a takedown attempt from Tr, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Sloppy strikes from Turner. Those never looked like landing.
Tr throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Nice sprawl there from Turner as Tr shoots in.
Turner misses with a two punch combination.
Tr wants to slow Turner down by chopping away at his legs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tr shoots in looking for a takedown but Turner manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tr's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Steven Turner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddy Tr.
Turner closes the distance and lands a one-two.


Tr is rocked!


It looks like Freddy Tr has been cut.
Turner cracks Tr with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Tr tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Turner pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Tr is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steven Turner!
Steven Turner decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
