Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chester Barcelona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carvalho kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Megaman Theme Music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jonas Carvalho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho clinches up with Barcelona and pushes him back against the ropes.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Carvalho obliges.
Barcelona jumps guard and drags Carvalho to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Barcelona can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Carvalho controls the pace.
Barcelona is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Carvalho is aware though and is defending well.
Carvalho content to stall in guard here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Carvalho scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Barcelona pulls Carvalho in close to his closed guard and prevents Carvalho from doing any damage or advancing position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Carvalho rushes Barcelona and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Carvalho gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Barcelona regains guard.
Carvalho prevents Barcelona from getting back to his feet.
Carvalho knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barcelona on the ground.

Carvalho throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Barcelona works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Barcelona is working an open guard so Carvalho takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Nice takedown defense from Carvalho. No joy for Barcelona on that attempt.
Barcelona shoots for a double leg takedown but Carvalho sprawls well. He's pushed Barcelona's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Barcelona gets a clinch.
Carvalho lands a left hand that snaps the head of Barcelona backwards.
Carvalho lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Carvalho with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Barcelona wants to take the fight to the mat but Carvalho manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Jonas Carvalho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chester Barcelona.
A right handed body shot lands from Carvalho.
Barcelona looks winded!
Carvalho breaks the clinch.
Barcelona misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Carvalho takes the fight into the clinch.
Carvalho is pressed up against the ropes. Barcelona has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Carvalho down to the mat. Carvalho avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Barcelona slaps away a takedown attempt from Carvalho, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Carvalho shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barcelona pinned against the ropes. Barcelona gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carvalho closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Carvalho cracks Barcelona with a big elbow.
Barcelona is not content to let Carvalho control the position.
Barcelona tries to improve position but can't.
Carvalho is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonas Carvalho dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Barcelona dives in and grabs Carvalho's left leg, looking for a takedown. Carvalho pushes down on Barcelona's head and hops out.
Carvalho lands a nice shot to the body.
Carvalho changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Barcelona tries to avoid it but Carvalho manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barcelona to the ground. Barcelona escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jonas Carvalho is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Carvalho lands with a nice body kick.
Carvalho has taken the fight to the clinch.
Carvalho landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Carvalho breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Barcelona misses with a series of wild punches.
Carvalho lands with a big left! Barcelona is wobbled badly! Carvalho comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Barcelona to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jonas Carvalho!
Jonas Carvalho decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
