The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherk lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Sherk fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bob.
Sherk turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Sherk avoids the head kick by Bob.
Sherk looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Sherk has Bob up against the cage in a clinch.
Sherk gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bob regains guard.
Bob keeping moving, preventing Sherk from controlling successfully.
Sherk postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bob knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sherk on the ground.
Sherk throwing strikes from guard but Bob blocks nicely.
Sherk passes into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sherk maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Bob could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Sherk has cracked it and Bob is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Sherk!
