The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villante tries to clinch but Stupko moves out of range.
Villante dives in for a single leg takedown but Stupko sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Villante is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Stupko goes for a takedown attempt but Villante pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Villante tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stupko swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Stupko gets the takedown into side control.
Villante is looking to reverse the position.

Stupko has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Villante is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Stupko yanks on the arm and Villante is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Stupko.
