Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Funk Jr or perhaps it was just good defense by Burgess, which made it look bad.

Funk Jr swings around for an armbar but Burgess sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Funk Jr's guard.
Funk Jr wants to sweep here but Burgess controlling him for the moment.
Burgess would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Funk Jr utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Burgess trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Quinton Burgess.
