The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Todd drives through with a takedown into guard.

Whitaker working for a triangle but Todd defends it easily.
Whitaker wants to get back to his feet but Todd is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Todd is working Whitaker over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Todd landing some decent shots from guard.

Whitaker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Todd gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Todd connects with a couple of short punches.
Todd wants to pass the guard but Whitaker is keeping the position.
Todd lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Whitaker is rocked!

Todd arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Whitaker's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

A relieved looking Vladimir Todd thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
