Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnem�ki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimes gets a clinch.
Furukawa manages to break the clinch.
Furukawa lands a nice leg kick that just misses Grimes's sensitive parts.
Furukawa thows a body kick. Grimes tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Furukawa connects with a leg kick. Grimes looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Furukawa avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Grimes shoots in but Furukawa avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Grimes blocks a head kick by Furukawa.
Furukawa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Grimes fails with a takedown attempt.
Grimes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Furukawa avoids it really well and circles away.
Ketaro Furukawa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carl Grimes.
Grimes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Furukawa but Furukawa pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Furukawa is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Grimes's half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Grimes has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Furukawa doesn't defend quickly enough and Grimes has managed to lock this one up! Can Furukawa escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Grimes on a fantastic submission victory.
