Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Clay Guida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yip Kai Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yip Kai Man is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guida gets a clinch.
Kai Man using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Guida blocks an uppercut.
Kai Man lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Kai Man lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Guida circles away quickly and effectively.
Guida throws a sloppy head kick and Kai Man moves out of range easily.
Guida tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kai Man swivels and escapes.

Guida misses with a straight left.
Kai Man lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Guida throws a push kick but Kai Man slaps the foot to one side.
It seemed like Kai Man was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Guida closes the distance and clinches.

Kai Man is pressed up against the cage. Guida has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kai Man down to the mat. Kai Man avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Guida is trying to push Kai Man away but Kai Man has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Guida tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

It looks like Clay Guida has been cut.

Guida motions for Kai Man to come forward. Guida throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kai Man feints and then cracks Guida's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Guida down.
Kai Man throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Guida.

Kai Man has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Guida has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Well Kai Man has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
