Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Cygan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jan Cygan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cygan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cygan showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are battling for position here. Smith manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Cygan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Cygan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Smith was covering up waiting for the punch and Cygan finishes the takedown easily into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cygan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Cygan drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Cygan seems to have locked his on tight now - Smith screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Cygan, as he picks up the win!
