Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Price looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kent throws a hook to the side of Price's head but Price sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kent uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Price has time to react.
Kent looks to throw the jab but Price is out of range.
Price slips under a jab.

Price drives through with a takedown into guard.
Price wants to pass the guard but Kent is keeping the position.
Price with a flurry of punches that miss.
Price engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Price stops Kent from standing up.
Price pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kent is keeping the position for now.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Price with a flurry of punches that miss.

Price keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kent's efforts to push away.

Price pulls guard.
Price is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Price has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Price throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kent trying to control the position from guard on top but Price is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Price doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Price looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kent is one step ahead there.
Price is pulling down on Kent's head to control his posture.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

A close round but Clark Kent will probably get the nod.

Kent's jab looks to have found its range, popping Price under the eye.
A telegraphed right hand from Price misses the target.
Price shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kent but Kent pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kent lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Kent scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Some wild striking there from Kent.

Price feints and as Kent raises his hands in defense, Price changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Price decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
A telegraphed right hand from Kent misses the target.
Kent fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Price takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Price uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kent.
Kent's jab looks to have found its range, popping Price under the eye.

Kent has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Price tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kent swivels and escapes.

Price fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kent, pushing him back against the cage.

We've been informed that Kent has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Clark Kent showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kimbo Price overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kent forces his way into half guard.
Price tries to roll over but Kent keeps him under control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kent is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Price showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kent.
Kent displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Price.
Kent pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Price back to the cage. Kent follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Kent lands with a nice body punch.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kent keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kent moves out of range of the body kick.

Kent gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Price decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kent, up you get!

Kent clobbers Price with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kent misses with a few strikes there.
Kent tests Price's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Price doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kent lands a glancing blow to the side of Price's head.
Kent lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Clark Kent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Price moves out of range of the strikes.
Price pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Price gets a clinch.

Price jumps guard and drags Kent to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Kent trying to control but Price is working from the bottom.
Price is pulling down on Kent's head to control his posture.
Clark Kent is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Price continues to stall.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Price manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
