The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McGordon.
McGordon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

McGordon gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
McGordon trying to control the position but instead, Carliano has worked for underhooks and has pushed McGordon into the cage.

McGordon manages to break the clinch.
Carliano paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
McGordon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carliano tries a head kick but it misses.
McGordon shapes to counter with a head kick.
Carliano swings for the body but McGordon moves out of range.
No joy there for Carliano, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Carliano tries to bum rush McGordon with a series of wild strikes but McGordon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McGordon throws a big counter head kick but Carliano avoids it with no problem.

A looping hook to the body misses from McGordon. Carliano does a little dance to reset his feet.
McGordon moves out of range as Carliano strikes.
Sloppy strikes from Carliano. Those never looked like landing.
McGordon takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

McGordon moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

McGordon is rocked!
McGordon is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Carliano Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! McGordon is out cold, face down on the mat!
