Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sterling Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Archer comes to the cage accompanied by Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sterling Archer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rocky Balboa!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Balboa throws an overhand right that lands on Archer's shoulder, as Archer tries to avoid the shot.
Balboa has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Archer is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Balboa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Archer was well out of range. Poor timing from Balboa.
Balboa swings for the body but Archer moves out of range.
Balboa throws a left and a right that both miss
and Archer counters with an inside leg kick.
Balboa avoids the head kick by Archer.
Archer throws a jab when Balboa was well out of range.
Balboa tries a low kick but Archer avoids it.
Archer throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Balboa's head.

It looks like Rocky Balboa has been cut.
Archer throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Balboa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Archer counters with a single leg into guard. Balboa didn't expect that.
Balboa wants to stand but Archer is controlling the position.
Archer content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Archer is pushing down on Balboa's leg trying to pass to half guard. Balboa is fighting to maintain full guard but Archer has managed to sneak the leg through.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Balboa is not content to let Archer control the position.
Archer is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Balboa!
Archer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Archer fails to take his opponent's back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Archer sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Balboa is squirming around, avoiding Archer's attempts to control the action.

Archer working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Archer lands a couple of good shots and Balboa has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Balboa is rocked!

Balboa showing good submission defense here.
Balboa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Archer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Balboa is squirming around looking to escape but he's just wriggling himself into more trouble. Archer sinks in the hooks and manages to tighten his grip on a rear naked choke. Balboa has no choice but to tap and Archer jumps to his feet to celebrate and slick submission win!
