Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Asis avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
De Asis throws a left that rocks Freak and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! De Asis dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Freak regain composure!
Freak is rocked!
It looks like Rick Freak has been cut.
Freak tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but De Asis wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Freak is still in real trouble! Can De Asis finish him?
Freak seems to have recovered his senses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
De Asis decides to stand up, so the ref orders Freak to his feet.
De Asis scoring well with a low kick there.
Freak fails with a takedown attempt.
De Asis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Freak but Freak pushes him off and we're back to square one.
De Asis is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Freak hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mik De Asis!
