Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Carvalho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bolebor Psikuta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho tries to clinch there but Psikuta circles away.
Carvalho shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Psikuta as he avoids it easily.
Carvalho dives in for a single leg takedown but Psikuta sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Carvalho can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arthur Carvalho. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Carvalho tries to score a body lock takedown but Psikuta shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Psikuta manages to pull guard.
Psikuta tries to land a sweep but no joy.

We've been hearing that Carvalho has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Carvalho working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Psikuta controls Carvalho momentarily but Carvalho frees himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carvalho is in close to Psikuta's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Psikuta is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Carvalho is controlling him.
Carvalho has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Carvalho pushes down on Psikuta's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Carvalho wants to control but Psikuta is keeping him busy.

Psikuta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carvalho. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Psikuta is not content to let Carvalho control the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Psikuta throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Carvalho.
Carvalho changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Psikuta tries to avoid it but Carvalho manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Psikuta to the ground. Psikuta escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Carvalho shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Psikuta sprawls well. Psikuta wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Carvalho gets slowly back to his feet.

Psikuta closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Carvalho did well to prevent Psikuta getting side control.
Psikuta is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Psikuta wants to stand up but Carvalho has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Carvalho is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Psikuta's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Psikuta's back!

Carvalho is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Psikuta won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Carvalho off his unconscious opponent!
