Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jimmy Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor staying out of range there.
Taylor connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Donatello Battista has been cut.
Battista throws a low kick but it's checked well by Taylor.
Battista throws a hook but Taylor avoids it easily.
Battista avoids the head kick by Taylor.
Taylor tries to land a leg kick but Battista saw it coming and moves away.
Battista shoots for a takedown but Taylor saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Taylor moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Battista goes down! Can Taylor finish him!?
Battista is rocked!
Taylor must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Taylor loads up on a big left hand. Battista felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Taylor looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Battista can't hide his disappointment, as Taylor celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy Taylor!
In his post fight interview, Jimmy Taylor started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
