The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercado shoots in for a takedown but Nam shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nam misses with a wild combination.
Mercado goes for a double leg but Nam avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nam continues to drive forward.
Nam is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
