Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bosco O Neill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Grande (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Neill comes to the cage accompanied by Survival. Bosco O Neill has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grande closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming O Neill to the mat! O Neill manages to get full guard.

Grande drops back looking for a leg! O Neill is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and O Neill manages to kick Grande off! Grande jumps back into O Neill's guard.

Grande controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bosco O Neill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Grande.

Grande drives through with a takedown into guard.
O Neill has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

O Neill has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Grande has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

O Neill escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
O Neill throws a series of punches but Grande moves out of range.
Grande shoots in looking for a takedown. O Neill tries to sprawl out of it but Grande keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. O Neill manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Grande fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

A punch lands to the side of Grande 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Grande shoots for a double leg takedown but O Neill sprawls well. He's pushed Grande's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
O Neill misses with a few strikes there.
Bosco O Neill is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Grande takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Grande fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
O Neill lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by O Neill.
O Neill stalks Grande and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Grande's face. Grande staggers backwards, shaken.
Grande has a takedown stuffed.
Grande changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. O Neill tries to avoid it but Grande manages to keep hold of a leg and drag O Neill to the ground. O Neill escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No luck for Grande with that takedown attempt.
We've been informed that Grande has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Grande takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

O Neill scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
O Neill scores with a one two! Grande had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Grande is rocked!
Grande looks up at the clock. Bad move! O Neill lands a right hand from hell, dropping Grande. O Neill pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bosco O Neill!
