The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marena tries to clinch but Mohammed is having none of it.
Marena ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mohammed moves away.
Marena misses with the combination.
A clash of legs there as Marena blocks the low kick.
Mohammed attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Mohammed fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Marena looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Marena looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Marena perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Marena has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mohammed defend it? Marena steps over the head and cranks it - Mohammed is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Marena!
