Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Young Blood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zang Pu!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Pu. Those never looked like landing.
Pu goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Zang Pu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pu lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Blood has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Blood and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Blood throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pu is defended easily by Blood.

Blood goes for a double leg but Pu avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pu continues to drive forward.

Blood shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Blood showed some decent athleticism there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Blood is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

and Blood connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Pu thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Blood's head.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Blood working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
