Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tifau Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Wilhelm Richard Wagner - Flight Of The Valkyries. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oliveira. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Oliveira wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Silva, who protects the arm well.

Oliveira decides to stand back up. Oliveira steps back and let's Silva get back to his feet.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oliveira swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silva leaves Oliveira with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Oliveira shoots in looking for a takedown but Silva manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Oliveira's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Oliveira has hold of Silva's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Silva manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
