Richardson wants to stand and escape but Garrison is having none of it.

Garrison is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Garrison working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Richardson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Richardson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Richardson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Garrison on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Richardson lands a strong strike to the head of Garrison. That's dazed him! Richardson looking to finish here. Garrison is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Richardson lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
