Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Logan Estrada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dougie Bendstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Logan Estrada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dougie Bendstone!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bendstone fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Estrada avoids it really well and circles away.
Bendstone wants to clinch.
Dougie Bendstone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bendstone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bendstone shoots in but Estrada avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Logan Estrada has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dougie Bendstone.

Estrada looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Bendstone!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Estrada tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bendstone sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Estrada somewhat.

The fight stays on the outside here - Estrada looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bendstone takes a swing at Estrada's ribcage but misses.
Estrada takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Bendstone tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bendstone is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Bendstone trying to keep a closed guard but Estrada is proving a slippery customer.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Bendstone manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Estrada manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Estrada is trying to keep Bendstone in close.
Estrada doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Estrada had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bendstone defends it easily.

Estrada is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bendstone defends well.
Estrada wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Bendstone is now in half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Logan Estrada will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Bendstone tries to clinch up but Estrada circles away and keeps his distance.
Bendstone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Estrada as he jumps to the side.
Estrada shoots for a takedown but Bendstone saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Estrada fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bendstone to the ground. Estrada is now in Bendstone's guard.
Estrada tries to free his leg and advance position but Bendstone is retaining full guard.
Bendstone has momentary wrist control but Estrada slips an elbow through the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Estrada drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bendstone dives on top into guard.

Estrada wants to get back to his feet but Bendstone drags him back down.

Estrada is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bendstone's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Estrada wants to improve his position but Bendstone is controlling well.
Estrada is looking to control Bendstone's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Estrada avoid being mounted?
Bendstone has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Bendstone jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Estrada manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Estrada is trying to control Bendstone's posture but Bendstone avoids it.
Bendstone trying to control the position but Estrada is working away.

Bendstone is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Estrada knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Bendstone tries to advance to mount but Estrada denies him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Estrada is looking to regain half guard here but Bendstone keeps moving and retains side control.
Estrada trying to control but Bendstone flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
Bendstone is hanging on to Estrada's back as he tries to escape.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Estrada is trying to stand back up.

Dougie Bendstone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Bendstone will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bendstone is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Logan Estrada showed his dominance in that final round.
