The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ruder gets caught flat footed, as Halford shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ruder looking to control but Halford passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Halford slows the pace down in half guard.
Halford should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ruder wants to control but Halford is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Well, if Halford is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Let's hope that Halford has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Ruder has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Halford is working away from the top position though.

Halford working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Ruder on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ruder tries to get out of the position.
Halford seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Halford shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Halford showed some decent athleticism there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Halford prevents Ruder from improving his position.
Ruder is trying to maintain the position but Halford is very close to passing his half guard.
Halford moves nicely into side control.
Ruder bucks up and tries to throw Halford off but instead Halford has got his back!

Dylan Halford showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Halford moves in looking to clinch but Ruder pushes him off.

Ruder shoots and misses

and Halford counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Ruder has hold of Halford's hands but Halford slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Ruder is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Halford scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Halford gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Ruder looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Halford gets the takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Halford lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Ruder tries to buck Halford off but Halford is having none of it.

Ruder manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Ruder trying to control but Halford postures up.
Ruder is refusing to be controlled, as Halford sits in half guard.

Ruder is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Halford gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Halford not allowing Ruder to control his hands.
Ruder tries to escape but Halford has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Halford trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Ruder doesn't escape.
Halford wants to control the position but Ruder frees himself and scrambles - Halford manages to regain control in side control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ruder is trying to get back to his feet.

Halford looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Halford trying to control the position but Ruder is working away.
You can see the frustration on Ruder's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Dylan Halford comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Halford winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
