Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobbie Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trayden Francis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trayden Francis will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobbie Reynolds!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trayden Francis!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Francis scores with a jab. Reynolds acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Reynolds goes for a double leg but Francis avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Francis continues to drive forward.
Francis scores with a shoulder strike.
Reynolds wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Trayden Francis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Francis tries a head kick but it misses.
Reynolds misses with a body kick.

Francis shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Reynolds is fighting to break Francis's control of his arms but Francis is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Francis has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Reynolds off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Francis fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Reynolds, pushing him back against the cage.
Reynolds wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Francis has him pressed against the cage.
Reynolds is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Reynolds has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Francis after a bit of a struggle.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Francis lands a body shot in the clinch.

Francis has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Reynolds is trying to keep an underhook but Francis manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Francis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Reynolds does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Reynolds throws a lazy body kick
and Francis counters with a head kick. That will keep Reynolds thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Francis has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Francis rushes Reynolds and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Reynolds is fighting off a takedown attempt but Francis is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Reynolds to the mat. Reynolds regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Francis sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Reynolds's guard.
Reynolds has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Francis is working away from the top position though.

Francis is looking for a kimura but Reynolds is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Francis to get the leverage.
Francis takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Reynolds is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Trayden Francis has got the better of the ground game so far.
Francis is taking a breather. Reynolds says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Reynolds slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Reynolds working for a triangle but Francis defends it easily.
Reynolds is trying to control the position but Francis postures up.
Reynolds is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Reynolds is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Francis kicks off Reynolds and gets to his feet.

Francis gets control of Reynolds's arms and successfully pulls guard. Francis will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Francis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Reynolds is one step ahead there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Well Francis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
