The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evdokimov swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Torton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The fighters circling - Evdokimov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Evdokimov misses with a shot to the body
and Torton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Roman Evdokimov has been cut.
Roman Evdokimov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Evdokimov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Torton moves away.
Evdokimov clobbers Torton with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice defenses there by Torton.
Torton loads up on a big right hand but Evdokimov slips the punch.
Evdokimov throws out a loose jab but Torton uses good head movement to avoid it.
Evdokimov blocks a jab.
Evdokimov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Evdokimov pounces like a tiger and cracks Torton with a vicious hook! Torton is down but not out! Evdokimov follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
