Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Abdullah Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxwell Rubin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slice comes to the cage accompanied by Last Resort-Papa Roach. Abdullah Slice has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice misses with a body shot.
Rubin fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Slice checks it well.

Rubin gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Rubin tightens his grip and picks Slice up, before dumping him to the ground. Slice manages to land in guard.
Slice utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Rubin wants to pass the guard but Slice is keeping the position.
Rubin is standing up over Slice. Slice looks to escape but Rubin dives into side control.
Rubin misses with the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rubin tries to advance to mount but Slice denies him.
Rubin is looking to take a break and control but Slice is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The strikes coming from Rubin are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Rubin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Slice doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rubin.

Rubin is stalling here. Slice is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Rubin seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Slice has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Rubin is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Slice winds up and cracks Rubin with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Slice is stalling here. Rubin is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Slice seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Rubin has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Slice is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rubin has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Slice prevents Rubin from improving position.

Rubin goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Slice has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rubin but great work by Slice.
Slice has knee on belly momentarily but Rubin bucks him off and regains half guard.
Slice is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rubin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Slice's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Slice bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Rubin prevents Slice from moving into mount.

Rubin is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Rubin won't allow Slice to pass to mount.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Slice accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Slice is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Rubin has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Slice is looking to defend but Rubin has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Slice! Rubin pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Slice taps out and this one is all over!
