The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Staffordshire darts in and clinches Franklin up against the cage.
Staffordshire manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Staffordshire preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Franklin decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Staffordshire, up you get!
Franklin avoids a punch combination nicely.

Staffordshire is looking to control Franklin's arms but Franklin gets an underhook and turns him. Now Staffordshire has his back to the cage.
Franklin tries to circle away but Staffordshire has him pinned against the cage.
Staffordshire pulls guard effortlessly.

Staffordshire throws a body kick that misses.
Staffordshire feints and as Franklin raises his hands in defense, Staffordshire changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Staffordshire prevents Franklin from getting back to his feet.
Staffordshire really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Franklin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Franklin pushes a forearm under Staffordshire's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Staffordshire is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
