Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ed Gennero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pierre Dubois (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dubois breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Dubois counters with a nice leg kick.
Gennero tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Dubois is able to avoid easily.
Gennero lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Dubois connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gennero 's hands.
A nice inside leg kick there by Dubois. That's going to slow Gennero down.
Good leg kick by Dubois there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That was a close round but I would say that Ed Gennero will probably get the nod.

Gennero lands a left and a right that send Dubois crashing to the mat, dazed. Gennero thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Gennero throws a pinpoint strike between Dubois's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Dubois crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Gennero scores a great knockout victory!
