Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Avara gets caught flat footed, as Rossi Jr shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Avara working for a triangle but Rossi Jr defends it easily.
Rossi Jr wants to control from the top but Avara keeps moving.
Avara not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rossi Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Avara has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rossi Jr has managed to get both his arms back between Avara's legs - danger averted.

Rossi Jr is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Avara is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Avara tries to buck Rossi Jr off but Rossi Jr is having none of it.

Rossi Jr is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Avara is trying to escape and Rossi Jr transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Avara is forced to tap! Nice work there by Rossi Jr! Very nice indeed!
