Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ollie Robbins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlito Barzini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlito Barzini will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ollie Robbins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carlito Barzini!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robbins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Barzini fails with the takedown

and Robbins counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Robbins.
Robbins is trying to break the clinch but Barzini is controlling him.

Robbins has picked Barzini up - he's going for a ride! Robbins dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Robbins is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Barzini is just riding it out for now. Robbins eventually gives up the hold.

Robbins is looking for a kimura but Barzini is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Robbins to get the leverage.
Robbins knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barzini on the ground.

Barzini has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Robbins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Barzini seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round but I would say that Ollie Robbins will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Barzini drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Barzini jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Barzini drops back looking for a leg! Robbins is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Robbins manages to kick Barzini off! Barzini jumps back into Robbins's guard.

Barzini thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Barzini wants to stand and escape but instead Robbins has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Barzini utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Robbins stands up over Barzini, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Robbins tries to stand but Barzini is controlling from the bottom.

Robbins trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Robbins is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Barzini doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Robbins.
